Localized Vitiligo Pictures

Vitiligo is categorized in two main types Localized and Generalized Vitiligo. Which are further subdivided into five sub types. Two types are under Localized vitiligo. One is Focal vitiligo and second one is Segmental vitiligo.

Vitiligo Picture of Focal type:


As it is clear in picture of this vitiligo type. In Focal Vitiligo one or more macules in one area but not clearly in a segmental distribution. In general terms Focal Vitiligo is localized to a single area. If the patient has a single patch on hand, face or leg with no other occurrences of disease on other body parts.

Vitilgio Pictures of Segmental Vitiligo

This type of vitiligo normally occurs  on  lips and fingers, due to this reason also called Lip-Tip vitiligo.  As shown in Picture of segmental vitiligo patches these are quite symmetrical  and of irregular shapes.
